We are delighted to be working with Saffron Grange, based just outside Saffron Walden on the Essex/ Cambridgshire border. We have been working with them to plant a copse and an avenue of trees on the site. To date, we have planted over 1,052 trees and hedging plants. We are looking forward to more planting this autumn.

Saffron Grange

It was wonderful to plant at Saffron Grange for the second year in a row and was great to add to our previous planting with another 385 trees in the ground. The vineyard is a wonderful place to explore nature and wine production. The space that has been created is increasing biodiversity for the area and the community around it. We were delighted to have the team HRC Hewittsons helping us plant the trees, thank you.

It was great to have so many volunteers from Ricardo and Fresh Montgomery helping us. The site offers many wonderful habitats given its proximity to the lakes and rivers so we are extending the network for wildlife to enjoy. The site also backed on to a disused landfill site so it is great to producing additional woodland next to this.

We extended a copse, planted a very boggy area to help with flooding, and created a new native hedgerow. It's so important near water as we help create b-lines for nature.

This was an amazing opportunity for the community and 20 students to come together along with some of our corporate partners. It was great to chat about all things trees and see how much of an impact was made in just an afternoon. We collectively planted 810 trees and hedging plants. The school backs on to Hinchingbrooke Country Park and has a selection of trees within the grounds. It was great to plant for future generations as they had lost some big old trees. We also planted a native hedgerow to make part of a new boundary for the school and to benefit the woodland just feet away.
