MEMORIAL TREES AND BENCHES
Adoption
When you sponsor a memorial tree or bench through our Website, you are making a donation to Creating Nature's Corridors in exchange for the recognition described on the relevant page (such as inclusion on our Wall of Remembrance).
No Ownership
Sponsoring a tree or bench does not confer any ownership rights, legal interest, or right of access over the land on which the tree or bench is located. The land remains the property of the relevant landowner, and Creating Nature's Corridors retains full discretion over the management, maintenance and, where necessary, replacement of trees and benches.
Tree Survival
While we take great care in planting and maintaining our trees, and maintain a high survival rate, trees are living things, and we cannot guarantee that any individual tree will survive indefinitely. In the event a sponsored tree does not survive, we will, where reasonably possible, replace it.
Dedications
Any dedication, inscription or wording you provide must not be offensive, unlawful, or infringe the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to decline or amend any dedication at our discretion.

Registration
When you register for an event organised by Creating Nature's Corridors, including sponsored walks, you agree to provide accurate information and to comply with any specific terms, rules or instructions provided for that event.
Participation at Your Own Risk
Participation in any physical event, including walks, is at your own risk. You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to participate. We strongly recommend appropriate footwear, clothing and preparation for outdoor activities.
Cancellation
We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or alter any event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions, venue availability, or matters affecting health and safety. Where an event is cancelled, we will use reasonable efforts to notify registered participants and, where applicable, advise on the treatment of any entry fees.
Sponsorship Money
Where you fundraise on behalf of Creating Nature's Corridors, you agree to pass on all sponsorship money raised in a timely manner, and to ensure that any fundraising activity is conducted lawfully, safely, and in a manner consistent with our values.
VOLUNTEERING
By registering as a volunteer, you agree to follow any health and safety guidance, instructions and policies provided by Creating Nature's Corridors during volunteering activities. Volunteering is undertaken at your own risk, and we ask all volunteers to disclose any relevant medical conditions that may affect their participation in physical activities such as tree planting.
